About Dr. Allen

Hi there! My name is Seamus Allen and I wanted to include this write-up on the site to further introduce myself.

As far as identity goes, I am a child of God and born-again believer in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My faith is of utmost importance to me.

As far as what I do work-wise, I practice chiropractic in Livonia, Michigan. I have a certification in functional medicine and achieved a diplomate of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition.

I would say I first started getting into nutrition as a result of skin issues I battled. Starting in high school and persisting through my 20's I would get carbuncle cysts and boils mainly on my face. These challenges and struggles led me to want to research and see if there may be a correlation with how I was eating.

I think there can be a component but I don't think the story ends there. In an attempt to try to gain greater facial clarity, I tried to eat a healthier diet, I have taken supplements for years and I try to lead an overall healthy lifestyle.

As I've studied more about supplements, I have been drawn to Food Research Supplements largely. The reason for this is because of the power and importance of whole food supplements that contain vitamins and minerals and nutrients that the body is designed to recognize and utilize moreso than synthetic ingredients.

It amazes me how many supplement companies out there contain sythetic versions of nutrients that aren't as powrful, bio-available or efficacious.

One hope with this site is that people will have access to what I would deem some of the best quality supplements available on the market. This means individuals will be getting food-based nutrients that will resonate well with their bodies and exert healthy physiological benefits.

On a personal level, I'm married to my beautiful wife Farah. I enjoy serving on the worship team at church playing guitar, working out and spending time with friends and family.
